Sweat the Small Stuff

I came across this picture, and while I'm not entirely sure when it originated, I am absolutely positive that I kind of love it now. (Glowing review, I know!) But seriously; looks that combine vintage or super-casual flare with nouveau edge are some of my current favorites. Maybe you're not ready to flaunt your heather gray sweats in public with a modern shootie, but there are definitely other ways to refine 'relaxed' style into 'clean-cut chic'. The contrast is what makes it work! Liquid leggings and a blousy sweatshirt; yes! A corset top with high-wasted, flared denim; yes! A mini skirt with an over sized blazer; done! As we move fashion forward, don't be afraid to incorporate blasts from the past. After all, an educated homage is oh-so-modern!

Sorry but this look is downright awful....sweats should NEVER be paired with a heel...ABSOLUTELY NEVER!!!!Robyn Graham commented almost 2 years ago.
I agree, this look is terrible! The only place you should be wearing sweats is to the gym and I don't think heels at thy gym are very appropriate lol!Linda Stewart commented almost 2 years ago.
Love the advice, hate that look. rolled up sweats with a blazer and heels? Ew! It's a good thing the picture is so small. If it was bigger, I would have to seek her out and punch her in the face for that outfit. That's not "edgy", just lazy!
